Community

Crowdsourced data is the key to calibrate and validate authenticity of remote sensing data, unlocking nature's true value

The KLIQ community is the beating heart of TERYA’s proof-of-nature system — a global network of contributors (called Kliqers) who capture and submit data about nature to build a trusted environmental dataset. Here’s a deeper look at how this community functions and why it matters:

👥 Who are Kliqers?

Kliqers are everyday people — students, farmers, nature lovers, forest rangers, scientists, and even gig workers — who contribute to environmental monitoring simply by using their smartphones. You don’t need to be an expert or own special gear. All you need is curiosity, a camera, and a desire to support nature.

🔄 What do Kliqers do?

  • Take photos/videos of natural elements (trees, plants, animals, soil, etc.)

  • Upload these to the KLIQ platform

  • Help build a massive, validated dataset of ground-truth nature evidence

  • Earn points or $NATR tokens in return for their verified contributions

💎 What’s in it for them?

  • Rewards: Every valid contribution is rewarded with loyalty points or crypto tokens (on CELO), based on data quality and rarity.

  • Status: Contributors can level up, unlock special roles, or gain early access to campaigns.

  • Purpose: It’s a simple way to turn everyday smartphone use into measurable environmental impact.

  • Access: In some areas, the program creates new income opportunities, especially in regions with rich biodiversity and low economic options.

🔒 Trust & Incentives

KLIQ runs on a proof-of-nature + loyalty system:

  • Every contributor earns points tied to their verified participation.

  • These points convert to $NATR tokens (CELO-based).

  • Staking (locking tokens) gives power to vote on new data priorities, community initiatives, or rewards.

🌍 Where is the community active?

Pilot communities are already forming in:

  • Spain (e.g. in the Pyrenees forest acquired by TERYA)

  • Belgium

  • Ethiopia

  • Ghana

  • Nigeria

  • Senegal

  • Global online platforms like Telegram (via KLIQ-bot) and mobile beta testers

🛠️ How do they organize?

  • Through Telegram groups, leaderboards, and mobile app trials

  • With KLIQ missions (e.g., “map a forest edge” or “spot new species”)

  • Local community managers coordinate on the ground

  • Future DAO-like structure with governance rights for active Kliqers

🔮 Vision

KLIQ isn’t just data collection — it’s a movement to democratize environmental monitoring. The community becomes a decentralized, incentivized workforce creating one of the most valuable nature datasets in the world.

Imagine 100,000+ people, each turning daily walks, hikes, or farm visits into nature-saving contributions — all while earning and shaping the future of green finance.
